Kimmel Takes On Gawker Stalker
Jimmy Kimmel interviews Emily Gould, editor of gawker.com. They talk about gawker stalker, paparazzi, and how much privacy celebrities deserve. Jimmy delivers the smack down through logic and personal evidence while Emily can only smirk and smile and roll her eyes. It’s a battle of wits and this woman is completely unarmed.

Wow, fuck Jimmy Kimmel, what a douchebag. That wasnt honest discourse at all. Celebrities are made fun off and gossip is aimed at them, He does it on his own show all the time, hiding behind the curtain of “im a comedian so anything I say should be ignored anyway” is such a charade.

Well done Jimmy Kimmel.. He held his ground presented the facts, and was given no meaningful rebuttal other than tongue tied rhetoric and nonsense. Poking fun at people is one thing.. Being slanderous is entirely another…

I understand some of what you’re saying, but he also had some good points against some of the ridiculous things she was saying like “who cares if they are harassed, they are celebrities.” Also she talks with such arrogance. She also said “We’ve done it 4 years and it hasn’t been a problem” or something similar to that, which is just stupid. That’s like saying… officer I’ve been driving drunk for 10 years now and it hasn’t been a problem yet! That being said, some of what you said is true.

This lady is an idiot.

wow i really like kimmel but i’m surprised to see him getting his panties all in a bunch over a website that any fool could see has no credibility. it’s entertainment just like his show. half of kimmel’s monologues take something true about a celebrity, followed by him cracking a mean, un-true joke at their expense. everyonhe knows its a joke, just like everyone does with websites like this. IMO kimmel is now a hypocrite.

That’s what I was wondering!

not much of an interview

Sexiest talker ever. The topic of conversation and her flirtatious demeanor don’t match up but hey I’m not complaining. Added this to my favorites.

February 9th, 2010 at 9:00 am
PWNED
February 9th, 2010 at 9:00 am
I don’t. Why? Because I only care about their work and that’s about it. When you think about it celebrities are just like everyone else.

this wasn’t comedy, this was him trying to shut down her website
